Celebrate Lacrosse with Us!

May 29th is a big day for lacrosse in Centre Wellington. Sunday morning starts in Elora with games hosted by CW Minor Lacrosse, an afternoon filled with info sessions on physical and mental health, and the evening closing with the Junior teams taking on two big rival clubs.

Our strong community partners will be on site. Starting in the afternoon, Aimee Young of Living 2B Awesome will be performing a Kettle Bell demonstration. If that's not your thing, learn to string a lacrosse stick in the hall.

Are you an athlete looking to take your game to the next level? Come and see Rich Wigmore of RTHC talk about his Athlete Blueprint and taking your game to the next level.

Taking your game to the next level is important, but so is taking care of your mind. Our CMHA partners will be on site to talk about mental health, and the importance to taking time to maintain your mind.

Need to take care of your body? Our Physiotherapist partners will be onsite to talk and provide live demos. Eramosa Physio will talk concussion management. Grand River Physio will follow up with a live demo of taping an inversion ankle sprain.

After a long day of sport, and speaking engagements, make sure you take a minute to grab a smoothie from Booster Juice Fergus who will be onsite form 11am to 5pm!

In the matinee game, your Junior C Thistles will take on the Orangeville Northmen. Right after that, the U7 Select Riverhawks will play the U7 Select Northmen in the mini-me game.

CW Day of Lacrosse caps off with your Junior B Mohawks taking on the Hamilton Bengals, which is sure to be a back and forth battle.

You don't want to just be catching the events on 519 Sports Online after the event, you'll want to be there.
