Sixty teams from as far south as Wallaceburg, and all the way up to Nepean played this past weekend at the Scott Gerrie Memorial Tournament. In an incredible 60 games, 4 gained victory and were crowned champions from Arthur, Wallaceburg, Burlington and Nepean.

Although long, the weekend's events were all positive thanks to the incredible staff and volunteers working at the event.

A big thank you to the tournament committee for all of their planning and preparation in getting the tournament ready. Thank you to our partners for attending on site to support players and parents through the event. Thank you to all of the volunteers that were there to support the raffle table, BBQ, freezee sales, and 50/50 raffle. Thank you to the on-floor and off-floor officials, without your diligence in officiating our sport, we wouldn't be able to play. Finally, thank you to the teams, players and parents for all honing in on Centre Wellington to support the tournament and getting to play the sport we love.

Congratulations to Karen Scagnetti of Caledon on winning the 50/50 CW Riverhawks and Grand River Mustangs partnership raffle. By the end of the weekend, the pot exceeded $2000! Here's hoping for an even bigger pot in 2024.
